After getting a puppy, the most annoying thing people find is the peeing and pooping of the puppy in the house. But, nothing can be done as a human child also pee and poop anywhere until he is old enough to take it on his own. It’s important to teach your puppy when to poop and pee and where. To train him for Toilet, you must take your puppy to the destination of their toilet after meals, when he wakes up and when he is going to sleep. That is it. Remember dogs are very intelligent so is your little puppy. Once you put him in the habit to do so, he will be automatically trained about these things and later when he grows up, he will do the same thing but this time you won’t be there to keep track of him that he is doing all the things well or not.

Once he is old enough to take him for walks on the road or the park, before that you also may need to teach him to drop as their will be so many things on the road which you don’t want your dog to pick or even eat.

Throwing a frisbee and then having your puppy bring it back is the most fun game for you and your puppy. This is also a good exercise as well as good time to spend with your little friend. Though, it is also important that not only your puppy take the frisbee back to you and also leave it to your hands on your command. You should not try to get the ball out of his mouth yourself but he should leave the ball or frisbee in your hand on your command. You should not wrestle with him to get the ball or frisbee.

Going off long or even short walks is a matter of fun for you and your puppy but need to make sure that your puppy is in your control all the time and doesn’t bite or irritate another person. Also, it will not be good for your dog when want to have fun outside and he is with you on the leash, leaving your dog sometimes without the leash on walks is also good. The puppy should walk by your side, not in front of you nor behind you. Teach him to do that when he is on the leash as well as when he is not on the leash.

Good Etiquette

When you are taking your dog out and he is meeting some other dogs or cat, he should behave well. Generally, little puppies learn this from their elder brothers and sisters. Sometimes, the puppies are taken away from their parents and little siblings and that is the time when it is harder for dogs to learn to keep a good behavior towards other dogs as they don’t get enough time to spend with their family.

Teach Them Not to Jump

When you offer something to your puppy, at that time he jumps at you and you may find it fun but it is actually not good for you and also for your dog. Imagine he is doing the same thing when he is a fully grown dog. You might get hurt by his teeth or by his big nails. Even it could harm a child and he could also do things that might be even worse than this. So, you should teach your puppy not to jump on any human right now.

Teach Your Puppy Not to Bite

Right, when you get a puppy, you need to teach him that you don’t like his biting and you need to express that to him so he understands what you like and what you don’t like. A dog, from the start of his life, is enough minded to understand things about his life. Whenever your dog bites, you need to be looking disappointed at him. However, you can start playing with him again after some time and if he bites again, you should repeat the same process.

“Free” and “Off” Time

By the word “Free” we mean that your dog should understand when you say “Free” that time he is ready to play on his own without the leash but when you are going to teach your puppy “Free”, also teach him the word “Off”. This is the time when your puppy is not free anymore and need to be on the leash again. and should come back to you.
